"Tapewall" im SR-Archiv österreichsicher Popularmusik
Das Musikarchiv SR-Archiv österreichsicher Popularmusik (SRA) in Wien (Museumsquartier) hat uns schon für die Ausstellung Cassette Culture Node.Linz in Linz im OÖ Kulturquartier (Juni/Juli 2018) über 400 Stück Kassetten österreichischer Bands für die "Tapewall" zur Verfügung gestellt. Für die Ausstellung in Wien stellt uns das Archiv ein Fenster zur Gestaltung zur Gestaltung einer "Tapewall" überlassen. Der Status ist noch work in progress, die hier veröffentlichten Fotos werden den Fortschritt bis zur Fertigstellung dokumentieren. Auf dieser Wall sehen sie nur Tonträger von Gruppen aus Österreich, das Gros der Tonträger ist aus den 1980er und 1990er Jahren, aber es gibt aber neuere Produkionen aus den 2010er Jahren.
Zu bewundern gibt es die Tapes bei SRA im Museumsquartier Wien quartier21 Museumsplatz 1/5.
Ein Dank geht an die Mitarbeiter von SRA Judith Hohenegger und Marcus Krausgruber, die in der ersten Phase der Einrichtung aktiv mitgerabeitet haben. Und natürlich an das SRA für die geleistete Kooperation.

"Tapewall" at the SR Archive of Austrian Popular Music
The music archive SR-Archiv österreichsicher Popularmusik (SRA) in Vienna (Museumsquartier) has already provided over 400 tapes of Austrian bands for the "Tapewall" for the exhibition Cassette Culture Node.Linz in Linz in the OÖ Kulturquartier (June / July 2018). For the exhibition in Vienna, the archive provides us with a window for the design of a tapewall. The status is still work in progress, the photos published here will document the progress to completion. On this wall, you only can see recordings of groups from Austria, the majority of the recordings are from the 1980s and 1990s, but there are newer productions from the 2010s.
You can admire the tapes at SRA in the Museumsquartier Wien quartier21 Museumsplatz 1/5.
