Tech: Mastertape on a Revox A-77 High Speed
In a special artistic phase Josef K. Noyce created his tape releases live in his studio. He rehearsed during the week with the equipment used (samplers, synths, FX, ...) for the recording session and on Saturday he recorded a 30-minute live-set on a reel-to-reel tape on one take. On Sunday a second one. The two tapes recorded on a fast Revox A-77 were then the master tapes for a cassette production.
Tapes releases like "Tro Noyce" (aT) or "Josef K. Noyce Sings, ....." (aT) have been recorded in this way.
