Photo / Video: USA Tour 1986 Diary #9 - Interview with Jesse Block
When Monochrome Bleu played twice in San Francisco (booking by Olga Gerrard) on our USA tour in 1986, Jesse Block asked us after the first show whether we would be interested in giving him an interview. Of course, an interview is great and we were thinking of a dictaphone, not a broadcast camera and an interview partner with TV experience. We then shot at different locations like Fishermans Dwarf and it turned out to be a great day because we realised that something much bigger than planned happend.
The great thing is that Jesse Block and Wolfgang Dorninger are still in contact, but we haven't managed to meet up again several times despite being geographically close.
Unfortunately, Jesse has not yet found the master tape from back then. But there is a short excerpt from the interview on Vimeo.
