16.2.1996, the first gig of The Smiling Buddhas!

When I see this flyer I have to think of Hans Kulisch, who died on 29 March 2019 at the age of 64 after a long period of ill health. From today's perspective, this was the first fake show that took place, at least in Austria. All the acts were made up, there was no Nestroy Foundation either, everything was fake. But the acts who performed and played live were stars in Vienna and beyond.

This evening was the first evening of The Smiling Buddhas, simply legendary!
Rest in peace Hans. All those who didn't know Hans can get to know him via an obituary in the Skug.
